Nother anime/manga ...

Skip Beat

Ren Tsuruga

A shōujo manga with a first season listed in anime.
Story of a rather idealistic young girl being given a rude awakening by a childhood friend with his sights set on topping the music charts. In an effort to gain revenge, she gets signed up with a rival agency to become an actress.

__________

Toradora

Ryūji and Tiaga

The plot is a bit like Lovely Complex, which I saw first. its another "highschool" shōujo story about two mismatched students who decide to help one another gain their respective love interest's attention... only to discover they loved eachother best.
__________

Code Geass

Lelouch

Great series.. with a rather sad ending. This one is about a group of school students caught up in the struggle of superpowers and self-identity.. as well as those who possess the power of Kings and its widespread influence upon people.
All in all, its a bit like the tale of V. I'd watch this one again. Zero FTW!

More Anime

I came close to sweating it out with internet withdrawals last night. The area I live in had another one of its infamous thunder and lightning displays and totally kerzapped my connection. Fortunatly, there was a replacement to be had, and my computer seems to have *cof* weathered the situation without error.
___
Here are more anime selections for you to peruse. Have at!

Blue Seed
It's a bit bloody, but the story progresses well. Adventure, comedy, and romance, a very nice combo. I do wish the series continued just a bit further though. Lol! Rather strangely for me, I thought the scenery in this anime was as engaging as the plot!
And ancient enemy was arisen over the cities of Japan and Huge nasty monsters devastate the area. Its up to one lone girl to sacrifice all that she is, in an effort to save her homeland. But she won't be leaving without a fight! Together with her half-human protector and a small group of professionals, She's out to cut them down to size before its too late! There are 26 + 3 ova episodes to this anime.

Momiji and Kusanagi-san of Blue Seed

Eureka 7
This series has quite a complicated and somewhat enigmatic plot, which is likely what I enjoy most about it. Makes it rather hard to explain in a single sentence though. It involves, a boy, a girl, an alien race, mecha, air surfing, and a nasty war. There are about 50 episodes to this anime.

Eureka and Renton of Eureka Seven

Pretear
I don't often care much for the 'magical girl' genre but this one is kind of cute. Its a bit like a cross between the stories of Cinderella and Snow White. :D
7 Knights of Leafre have an urgent need for a pretear to help them combat the Princess of Disaster and they find her... in the form of 16 year old Himeno. There are 13 episodes to this anime.

Saseme of Pretear

A bit more Anime/Manga

This is Urahara or "the Hat n Sandals guy" of Bleach. I love this fellow's easy-going manner, even while knowing how much there must be going behind his hat-shadowed eyes.

another bunch

Here's some more I have enjoyed.

Yakitate!! Japan. A tale of an artisan whose greatest dream is to create a unique bread.
Kamisama Kazoku. A story of an angel guardian who falls in love with the son of a god she is intended to protect. (it gets a bit deep towards the end when they encounter a soul-stealing devil... but it works out well in the end.)
Zero no Tsukaima. A struggling wizardess accidently summons a commoner from modern day Tokyo to be her familiar. (the familiar seems loyal to the wizardess rather in spite of the beatings she often gives him... but I think it's a fairly sound plot.)

Kazuma Azuma in Yakitate!! Japan

Louise the Zero and Saito Hiraga in Zero no Tsukaima

Tenko the angel, and Samatarou in Kamisama Kazoku

Anime kick

I am going through whatever anime I can find online...if it sounds of any interest whatsoever, to me, anyway. :)

D.N. Angel. Its about a boy who is raised as a thief by his mother and grandfather..but in all other respects he had a typical kid's life...until his 14th birthday... when Dark, the master shadow thief, came into his life.
Full Metal Panic. A teen raised as a merc, is assigned to protect a girl in a Tokyo school.
La Corda D'oro. A girl entering first year general in a music academy, meets a fairy who gives her a magical violin.
Karin. This is a story of a reverse vampire with a blood preference for misfortune. who, meets with a transfer student in school (whos unhappiness causes her quite a bit of grief). Add to this, one interfering grandmother, a vampire hunter schoolmate (who is in love), and a need for secrecy, and you got a highly amusing madcap tale.

Dark of D.N. Angel

Kurz Weber in Full Metal Panic

Kazuki Hihara, the trumpet player, in La Corda D'oro

Winner Sinclair in Karin

idle moments

Hi. I have been spending a fair bit of time ruffling through an amazing amount of anime and manga of late. My favorites thus far are Naruto, Inuyasha, Tsubasa, Absolute Boyfriend and Lovely Complex. You'l likely to be hearing a bit more about these subjects before the month is out here.
For favorite characters...

It's hard to say for Naruto.. I like several of the characters in this manga. I suppose I could say though, that my favorites might be Shikamaru (for his genius.. and love for slacking off.), Jiraiya (for his funny attitude..as well as his rare serious moments) and Kiba. (because he is honorable and loyal to the people that matter to him.)

Absolute Boyfriend... I actually like the rivalry going on between the two main male characters in this story.

Inuyasha... I would probibly choose the wolf demon, Kouga. (He seems to be happilly drawn into verbal battles with inuyasha over poor kagome and yet it's easy to see he actually counts both of them as valued friends.)
Lovely Complex... I like Otani.. even if he -is- as dence as a brick wall. :)

In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Even though I know he has serious issues which he tries so very hard to keep hidden, I really like sweet Fai. (mostly for his little smiles, sad eyes, and fun moments in the face of such seriousness)

Kiba of Naruto.
Fai of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle.

Kouga of InuYasha.

Atsushi Otani and Risa Koizumi of Lovely Complex.

Night Tenjo of Absolute Boyfriend.
